Oh my. That sounds sad. So where did you learn Welsh? Artemis

Catching up. Love this (and the last) story! Not sure when I last commented, so just thought I'd lump that in there. I'm curious as to what's dragging Lois around through time. Is it Tempus? It wouldn't seem so, because it seems like a lot of positives. But maybe it's all just random. I'm also wondering about the Xenobiology hospital. Is it just a research center for Kryptonian descendants? Or could some of them have actually gotten sick somehow? Can't wait to find out!

Oh, how sad. Does that mean that Jordon's son died or just got very sick? I don't know about the hospital. That name sounds like something which would give Clark and Jonathan nightmares. I'm glad Jordon reconciled with his wife, but it sounds as if he hadn't told her while they were married that he was Superman. Clearly, some of Clark's earliest mistakes and lessons learned were not passed along to the next generation. What happened to poor Bobby Clark? I wonder why Owen has chosen Metropolis over London or another UK or European city?

Hi, guys! So where did you learn Welsh? Artemis Um, actually, I didn't. I've been using Google Translate for Owen's lines. This kind of limits what I can have him say, since I don't know the grammar. Catching up. Love this (and the last) story! Not sure when I last commented, so just thought I'd lump that in there. Thanks, Mouse! Virginia, glad you're still reading. it sounds as if he hadn't told her while they were married that he was Superman. Eh? How do you figure? More will come soon; thanks for the comments. Please don't hesitate to question or criticize.

Just curious, how did you come up with Xenobiology? It is certainly not an extremely well known study of medicine...
I also loved the line: “Grams, this is Agnes: once the former Mrs. Superman, now the Mrs. *former* Superman!”.

I just knew that "xeno" refers to anything strange or alien, and assembled the word from that. After glancing through wikipedia, I should prolly change it to astrobiology, but then, I don't want to pass up on using a word that starts with 'X'. I also loved the line: “Grams, this is Agnes: once the former Mrs. Superman, now the Mrs. *former* Superman!”.
Mike Thank you! I'd been waiting to use that line since Hooray for Hollywood!

They followed him into the house, where a woman stood waiting. Like Jordan, she was starting to show signs of age, but she still seemed fairly attractive. So, found new love again? “Honey, this is my time-traveling great-grandmother.” That’s like saying ‘this is my crazy uncle’ “Grams, this is Agnes: once the former Mrs. Superman, now the Mrs. *former* Superman!” He pressed a kiss into her hair. /scratches head/ Why would he…she seemed not very reasonable 30 years ago… Owen froze, his head cocked to the side. “Cathod mewn cymysgydd!” he suddenly shouted. Gesundheit? Cat on a tree? Once I figure out who's responsible for this, I don't care if it's Wells or Tempus; he is going to *pay*!” By the time she finished, she was breathing heavily. Lois unclenched her fist and tried to relax again.
Agnes turned to Jordan. “Is that where your uncle Hershel got it from?” she asked him. The babbling or the getting angry at people? Lois smiled. “That's wonderful!” She thought for a moment. “So, who's Bobby Clark?”
The two froze, staring at her silently. The mirthful atmosphere vanished.
“Owen mentioned him,” Lois said, beginning to feel slightly uncomfortable. “He said I had to meet him, and that you'd explain...” She trailed off. Uh-oh… “There's been talk about congress wanting to regulate pedestrian air-traffic,” Jordan said, the corner of his mouth quirking, “though they can't seem to agree on how. And, here we are!” Bobby Clark Kent Memorial Hospital Uh-oh. Xenobiology Research And Medicine Michael
