I wonder if Jor-El is going to trap him there so that he fulfills his promise. Cliffhanger! Though I suspect Lois will end up making it out okay. You can find my stories as Groobie on the nfic archives and Susan Young on the gfic archives. In other words, you know me as Groobie.
