Although, just to make it clear (because it's not made clear in the chapter and it's not that important either) her presence was keeping Jor-El's call at bay to start with, but their kiss silenced it permenantly, so it's not actually necessary for him to stay with her.

Totally went for the kiss - loved it! Love that this Clark is so honest, that it didn't take very long for him to fully commit to trusting her with his secret. Oh, but Jor-El has a creepy hold on him, pulling him back to the fortress.
I certainly don't want Clark stuck in the frozen arctic! Can't wait until Wednesday.
