Good chapter. Michel trying (and failing) to be a convincing Superman was funny!

"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

So wonderfully worth the wait smile...

Clark calling Lois 'Citizen' was hilarious rotflol rotflol rotflol! Great job with the dialogue. I have to agree--Michel trying to be Superman was awesome notworthy.

Oh--and I also enjoyed how Clark's first instinct was for Michel to be 'Superman' and not 'Clark'. How Lois knows him (Clark) so well that he knows that tricking her would never work. It speaks very deeply to how much of a disguise Superman really is--and to how Clark is his real true self when he is out of the costume, in street clothes or a business suit, working and hanging out with Lois.

Looking forward to more,
Laura

"Where's Clark?" "Right here."

...two simple sentences--with so much meaning.

Lots of fun. I'm glad that Michel is starting to see why Clark is the way he is and the good in what he does.

Michel's John Wayne impersonation while being Superman. rotflol clap Very funny! (We have watched The Man who Shot Liberty Valance recently, so I can appreciate the use of his John Wayne-isms even more so.) I am a bit surprised that Lois hadn't figured out that Superman was acting a bit off. This is only going to confuse her when he does finally tell her his secret.
