Leading up to the Kerths we thought it'd be fun to post challenges to get everyone writing some fun and humorous/edgy stories, plot Untwists, episode rewrites, and changing timelines. We will be posting a couple of challenges a week. Your response can be either PG / NFIC rated (if you're going to do NFIC be sure to make a clean version too) just be sure to include the Challenge # when responding. If you have a challenge you'd like to add to the mix just PM any of the KCOM and we'll add it in the weekly postings.

Fanfiction Challenge: #1
Setting: After Strange Visitor From Another Planet
Challenge: Remember that article Clark was writing about Adoptive kids? Maybe Lois picks up on the fact that Clark is adopted and maybe she offers to help him find his adoptive parents and he accepts just so he can spend time with her? What's the worst that could happen, right?

Fanfiction Challenge #2:
Setting: Season One - After PML but BEFORE the Lois / Lex Wedding Arc.
Challenge: There is a new drug out on the streets of Metropolis hitting teens and gangsters and schools and is sucking the Youth out of people and making them crazy (think Lex Luthor in Seconds) Lois and Clark are assigned to cover it. The catch? The new drug is laced with a mysterious meteorite that strangely has an odd effect on Clark Kent. (Red / Green You choose)

Fanfiction Challenge # 3
Setting: Season 3: Virtually Destroyed. Superman has just rescued Lois and Jimmy from X in the Virtual World and hidden them inside the computer's mainframe (purple room).
Challenge: After seeing Clark without his glasses and Superman together Jimmy is flustered afterward and accidentally calls Superman 'Clark' to which Superman responds, "Yeah, Jimmy?"

Fanfiction Challenge # 4
Setting: Season 2: Chi of Steel Clark just returns from getting the dragon print-out from the Men's Club (You know the club Lois asked him not to go into...)
Challenge: When Clark tells Lois he ran into Superman who provided them with the image of the dragon Lois asks "What was Superman doing at a Men's Club?"
Maybe she gets on her feminism soap box...maybe there's a 'Gee Clark at least YOU didn't go in the club. Thanks for having my back partner...'

Fanfiction Challenge # 5
Setting: Season 3: Never on Sunday
Challenge: There's been a lot of discussion on how bad this plot is so here's the challenge. No Voo Doo. No Baron Sunday is some raised from the dead guy. Rewrite the episode and keep the B-Plot with the wedding planning but replace the A-Plot with something more Lois and Clark style.

Fanfiction Challenge #6:
Setting: The Pheonix
Challenge: Lex was never brought down in BAP, HOL or Madame Ex. Lois has been CASUALLY seeing Lex while dealing with Metropolils bad guys and slowly getting closer to Clark (same as cannon). In the Pheonix timeline Lex decides to pop the question at the same time Clark has worked up the nerve to ask Lois out. How does it go down?
Could you imagine if S1 cliffhanger happened in S2 and you showed the back and forth between CK and LL and Lex there when CK isn't?
