There are some Easter eggs hidden in this one. See if you can guess who is being referred to. Those that can guess, when I finish this work, I will send them an epub or mobi file of the story.

There are at least three other superheroes mentioned. There could be as many as six. See how many you can find.

Send your guesses via IM.

Hi Artemis,

Thanks for the FDK!

These are right out in the open and refer to the origins, as related in the original comic books to the origins of the superheroes.

Urgh! I know Doc Savage and his crew. Am I missing something? sad

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Doc Savage was not one of the superheros I was thinking of, but we can add him. I was thinking specifically of comic book superheroes. Doc was a comic book hero for a short time, but he was primarily a pulp novel hero. That still leaves between 3 and 6 to guess.

If you read chapter 3 carefully there is an allusion to the origins of the comic book heroes.
