I love all the hints you give the doctors. Clark's anemic with an irregular heart pattern and a temperature too high to support human life. Of course, he is running a fever, but he can handle that higher temp.
Kent had simply picked up a piece of evidence at an active crime scene and put it in his pocket? Then he ‘forgot’ to mention it to anyone besides his partner in crime, the even more infamous, Lois Lane.
Wolfe doesn't appear to enjoy Lois's style of reporting any more than Henderson did.
And the interchange between Lois and Clark, while too long to quote here, is poignant. They're both so frightened about their own concerns that they're not really listening to each other. Well written.
