FDK goes here . Next post... Probably Sat or Sun - not sure which yet. Chapter 10 Preview It was nearly closing time and he finished his duties quickly before heading back to Lois' apartment.
There was no one there when he arrived. He sighed and started to make some tea. He'd really hoped to talk to Lois. His mom had thought the idea of a disguise was sheer brilliance. He was supposed to go to Kansas in the morning to try some on and he was thinking about asking if she wanted to go with him.
There was a knock on the door as he set the tea kettle on the burner.
He was surprised to see Toni standing there. She was holding a bag of groceries from the Metro Mart as she pushed past him. Thanks . Carol

And the idea begins. And ooh, the next part's really gonna mess things up.

Oh my God are you serious!
Sigh, I have to stop reading fanfic at night after everyone goes to bed. Wait till the middle of the day when I'm in my office and it's just the dog and I at home, and I can scream out things like, Oh my God you're bringing Toni Taylor to Lois' apartment! Who's going to die, first?!? and the dog won't care because he'll be asleep all day...
Sigh, great part, JD

Heeee! One thing I love best about this chapter (okay there are many things, but shh) is that Lois finally has someone she can talk to about the situation that's not Clark. It's like there's one person (besides Clark, of course) that she doesn't have to hide the truth from. YAY! And ooooh! Love that the idea is brewing about the secret identity Squee! Still loving this story *bounces up and down excitedly*
Mmm cheese.
I vid, therefor I am.
The hardest lesson is that love can be so fair to some, and so cruel to others. Even those who would be gods.

Delightful part. Lucy & Lois talk. Clark & Lois talk. Clark's drifter habits are explained. Evil preview. But they way Lois and Clark are clicking in this tale it won't be a problem. This will simply get Clark fired on schedule. Meantime Perry will offer Clark a job.... I'm still worried, after all this is Carol. Although at this point I almost expecting to see a sane, rational, supportive Trask. One where Bureau 39 helps Superman. Can you just picture Clark dealing Nor with a security force of Bureau 39 soldiers to back him up?

Wonderful part, Carol. So, Lois eventually started to spill her guts to Lucy AND she did only freak a little on the morning-after. Did I miss this, or did Lois NOT tell Clark that Perry's called. And i think Meyerson's a goner. As far as the episode goes, well, there's a reason why it's called a-plot and this story already has a plot :p Lois sure is practical when it comes to keeping her husband close by. Disguise. Duh! Lois sighed and read over the story one more time before sending it to the night editor. She quickly changed into pajamas and slid into bed before Clark exited the bathroom.
Before she knew it, she was sound asleep. So, is Clark going to get all cuddly tonight? Please? Pretty please? Can't wait for Lois to meet Toni :p Michael

Yea! Superman is about to be created. I enjoy reading all L&C fanfic, but I especially enjoy reading stories which re-tell the early episodes, only with the twist that Lois knows about Clark. And this one throws a baby in the mix! And Lucy, too. I'm liking this very much.

Great part! Loved when Perry was figuring out that he'd just called Lois's number. I could see the yodeling wheels turning. Of course, the big questions for next time are (1) how long is it going to be until Lois tells Clark Perry called, and (2) are they now so comfortable sleeping in the same bed that they don't even have to talk about it?

I've been wondering... Lois and Clark are two years out of college? So, 24? How old is Lucy? 20? Is she in college? Out of town?

You've weaved snippets from a lot of stories into this - it's great.
I love how Lois so matter-of-factly solved Clark's problem - get a disguise.
Now, of course, he has no reason to leave.

Nice part.
Of course, I wish they would talk more about how they do feel toward each other. And I wish they would stop thinking about lawyers.
