I loved this. To me it seemed like it could have taken place any time after the start of season 3. When I read this I have this image of Lois sitting alone on a Sunday afternoon just musing about life and Clark and how they got to where they are. Clark is not present. He may be on a Superman call or just at the office talking care of some unfinished business. Nothing earth-shattering.
It honestly never occurred to me that this was a real request to help remember something that had been forgotten. To me this was a romantic request to reminisce about their first meeting.
I thought it was wonderful.
