Very sweet, Sas - and what a clever idea to use a baby naming session. They weren't labrats their parents just gave a name to every other month. I'd pretty much figured Clark and Lois wouldn't even attempt to use LabRat as a suggeston <g>, so this was a surprise. LabRat

Oh, very cute, Saskia! I enjoyed seeing it when you were pasting parts on IRC, and it was just as fun to read again here. I can't imagine anyone covering more cameos than you, LOL! This was my favorite, though: They weren't labrats their parents just gave a name to every other month. Totally inspired. <g> The only thing that you might add is a funny tag at the end ... when they say, "ok, it's decided, Martha Ellen and Samuel Jonathan", I can see the other one coming back with, "Or should that be ... Ellen Martha and Jonathan Samuel?", putting them right back where they started from. <g> Thanks for posting it! Kathy

Thanks This fic was great, Sas! (I was very curious to see what names they would finally choose, and I admit I hadn't thought about the obvious <shrug>) See ya. AnnaBtG.

Wow. Interesting way to get all the names in there. I like how they kept discarding the names because they knew people with those names. I read this at work yesterday (wasn't a good time to reply) and some parts I was trying so hard not to laugh into the customer's ear. Of course, when I got to my name, it was doubly-hard! Jimmy's girlfriend, heh. Great story.

Well, Karen, at least they didn't think your name was tease-worthy! Cute story, Saskia. Lots of fun, and a very impressive cameo-count!
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Very nice story. Clark likes the name, Tank, huh? Yay! I'm immortalized in a story as something other than "me."

Saskia, What a sweet story! This would have been a cute little vignette by itself; the adding of all our names is like icing on the cake. I'm sure this story made a lot of people smile (who doesn't like seeing their name in print?!) - Vicki (who was surprised to see her own name in there! )

Sas,
Loved this!!!!!!
I agree that it was a great way to get all the names in -- and I really loved the ones finally chosen -- although a poetic name would be nice <g>

He liked them a lot, actually. And so did Lois when they first mentioned them. It wasn't like calling your kids 'muts' and 'doos.' No, this was close to their real life and all the people surrounding them. Hi Doos!! Don't you think these two names are just adorable? Although there IS a chance the twins might turn out to be a bit twisted if you call them this Loved it! Cute story Muts

Sas, this is a great story! You did an amazing job getting so many names in there! Honestly, I couldn't believe that you managed to fit this many names into a story. And what a great idea too!
And my apologies for everyone who had to wait to read this... I took longer than anticipated to BR.

Sas, this is great!! It's absolutely adorable. This is my favorite part (of course *g*): A genius idea hit her then. Popular names! Always good with other kids. So she was the first to break the silence. "We could always take something popular, like Anne, or Anna. Maybe even Anni or Annie. Or if you like it a bit longer, it can be Annette." And as for Jana's comments, *I* should be the one apologizing. I've been so horribly busy with school that I didn't get a chance to BR this when Sas asked me. Hmmm, maybe my professors should be apologizing... Keep writing, Sas! ~Anna

Thank you all for you comments. I'm so glad you liked it, and actually had to laugh on occasion. Kathy, that's a great suggestion. I had been thinking about something alike, but decided against it. Beside it being a cameo fic, I wanted it to be something like a normal story. So there had to be an end, or rather, a solution. Glad you had fun, Karen. I hope your customers could make out what you were telling them between the laughter. Thank you Vicki. Although I don't agree with liking my name come up in print. I don't mind cameo's, I find those hilarious. But seeing my name (when referred to me of course) in an article is something I don't like. Except when the article says: By Saskia Anne! You muts! I couldn't do that to innocent babies, now could I? You know what an angel I am. Thanks again LabRat, Kathy, Anna, Karen, Rivka, Roger, Tricia, Vicki, Jose, Barb, Anne, Jana and Anna. Your comments are much appriated! Saskia

I stumbled upon this looking around on the boards. Very cute story! Though I can just see the argument from Ellen as to why her name wasn't used first. LOL Great use of a bunch of names i'm getting to know on these boards. Bella
Lois : And you know, you put up with me for the same reason I put up with you. It's because I'm completely in love with you." Clark : "And I love you. Did we just make up?" Lois : "I think so."
