Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

LOL!! Oh, too funny!

I loved Allison. She might not be like you, but she was adorable!

And a ton of cute lines in here ... from everyone being given nicknames, to the way Allison was encouraging "Lo" to go after "Chuck", to Lois's hair being in pigtails, LOL.

This was my favorite line, though:

Quote
Allison felt satisfied that she’d let poor inexperienced Lo into the Inner Circle of Cashier’s Trust.
That was just inspired. <G>

Quote
“How come we only get to kiss like that when we’re undercover?” he asked bashfully.

Lois flushed. “I don’t know, Clark... but I almost forgot something. I am *totally* supposed to ask you out. ‘Cause we’d *seriously* be the cutest couple. Wink-wink, nudge-nudge.”
And LOL again ... perfect ending! So funny. smile

Great challenge response, Wanda! Er, I mean ... Al. wink

Thanks for the awesome feedback! I appreciate it and am glad I made you laugh!!

Thought I'd shed some light on the "true lies" behind "Ace is the Place!"

The Allison (Al) character is really a conglomeration of all of the girls I work with. I think she's an accurate presentation of how we all are together. We are definitely gossips, and we know the dirt on customers. We like to dish. We are trusting and very friendly with the "newbies." (Hence Lo being let into the Inner Circle of Cashier's Trust on the second day!)

The customers I mentioned are all based on real customers. I changed the name for all of them, except there really is someone we call the "Mad Bomber," which is what gave me the idea!

Well, thanks again for leaving feedback... You guys are so totally awesome. *Seriously.*

Hugs from...

PS: Yes, on slow days, someone can usually be seen giving someone else a new hairdo, or perhaps a makeover.
wink

PSS: I'm VERY excited to see everyone else's UNDERCOVER WORKPLACE CHALENGE responses... bring 'em on!!!
