Hi, Great piece.
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

Hey, thanks for the vote of confidence, James <g>, but no. Got a few projects of my own that are taking my attention right now, so I'll have to pass. LabRat

My vote is for Mary. As Meredith pointed out in the fdk for part one, "gotten" and "dove" are giveaways. American writers are pretty much the only ones who use them, so "pounds" is a red herring. Unfortunately, the CJ clue is too general. Lots of writers (including moi) have named Lois and Clark's son CJ, and I assure you that I'm not the culpr-- ah -- author.

Does the UK still use pounds? I think I heard somewhere that they switched to Euro-dollars recently.
What about the other two kids' names, Laura nd John? Is there a clue there?

Definitely not a UKer by any means, as Mere and Nan point out. And, Mary, the UK has not switched to Euro (not Eurodollars! no such currency ). And I notice that you haven't denied it yourself... and you're currently top of my list of suspects! Wendy

My reaction at the end of part one was distaste. I read part two mostly out of curiosity. But I was very impressed with where it went! Very well done! As for who . . . *eyes everyone with suspicion*
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.
