Another bored day at work-inspired short story. Hope y'all like it. Totally not the type of story I'd normally write, but something that just kind of popped into my head a few months ago that I've been meaning to get to. Nicole

A sweet story, Nicole. The contrasts between the support Clark enjoyed and Lois didn't have is one thing, but I'm even more intrigued by the contrasts in what they wanted for themselves: that Clark wished to be normal, and that Lois wished to be -- well, "super." An interesting character sketch, and with a happy ending, no less. Hazel
Lois: You know the deal. Clark: Superman gets the guys in capes, Lois and Clark get the guys in suits.

Great story! Weird, I thought I already left a comment. Well here I go: I too enjoy to contast shown between Lois and Clark. Poor Lois. When she is in situations like that I feel really sad for her b/c I can relate. Clark is really luck for wat he has. Martha and Johnthan are awesome parents. All I can say is WOW to them. Thanks for the wonderul fic!!! I like the title and the cuteness of the poem Martha made. Short and sweet and to the point.
I've converted to lurk-ism... hopefully only temporary.

Thank you for the comments and for reading this... I've always wanted to do a short story revolving around themes that trace back to Lois and Clark's very different upbringings being essential in bringing them together in the end, so this was my attempt at that idea. Thanks again!!

That was really sweet.
I believe there's a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. -- Aunt May, Spider-Man 2
