That was adorable! And what a clever little title! LOL! I loved it, it had all the makings of a good fanfiction in a short little compact story. Good job guys! Laura

I had lots of fun watching you all write it. Glad it's finally here--where I can see the parts I missed. I love the humor, love Lois's ramblings, good dialogue (with an excellent finish), some angst in there (of course ), and a perfect title! Great job, all of you!

Very nicely done, indeed! A very sweet, nicely crafted story.

That was lots of fun.
I usually don't read Round Robins because they are unevenly written and tend to ramble on. A Close Shave did neither.
Great read!

Okay, I agree that the title was appropriate for this little vignette, but I still think it was just a bit evil to get my hopes up with a title like that.

Mulder: Imagine if you could come back and take out five people who had caused you to suffer. Who would they be? Scully: I only get five? Mulder: I remembered your birthday this year, didn't I, Scully?

Super! "You don't need to think! You think too much!" Loved this line.
If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Good grief. I thought I made a comment on this one. Sorry I didn't. I remember i really enjoyed it. It made me giggle. She shrugged. "I'm a reporter. It's what I do."
"What? Snoop?"
She rolled her eyes. "Investigate. Collect evidence. Establish the facts."
"In my bathroom?"
"Why not? Anyway, answer the question, Kent!" This is what set my giggle session in motion if I remember correctly. Under the bed! That was where she hid her romance novels. There had to be something under there.
Nope. Not even a dust bunny. Honestly! Who actually vacuumed all the way under their bed? "Well, see, Lois, I got rid of it... because... I have this habit of replacing all my shaving stuff every month on this day." What a lunkhead. Thank you!!
I've converted to lurk-ism... hopefully only temporary.
