Months ago I was in my car, listening to the radio. The DJ was interviewing Clint Black about a newer song of his called "My Imagination". Black said he wrote this song after he'd been in the airport one night, and started making up stories about people in his head. Now, I'm probably mucking up details of this... but the gist of the story from what I remember was about love at first sight. What if a man saw a woman across the way and started imaging his life together with her? Falling in love and having a future together. The story was way more poetic than I've just related to you, but the idea's the same. After the interview, they played the song.

And I fell in love at first listen. This is a rare occurence for me, but if a song just speaks to me, I'm in love with it.

Well, lo and behold, I get an email from Julie two nights ago, and now we have a video.

Aww, that was wonderful, Sara! I loved the effects for the daydreams and how you intersperced "reality" in at times. And the shots of Clark gazing at her, daydreaming, were perfect.

I already told you I love this, but I've thought of another reason why and figured you wouldn't mind hearing it

All the image/lyric matches were good (although I was a little confused about the very beginning, with a black&white shot of Clark, but I guess that was to go with how Lois had no one willing to die for her) -- really enjoyed the "walk on the moon, dance in the stars" -- the moon kiss was perfect.

But the part I *really* liked was the line about "until I stop believing that dreaming is all I can do" overtop of Clark *finally* asking Lois out...

What program did you use? The b&w and sepia shots were kind of blurred out -- was that on purpose? The first shot of Clark proposing was especially hard to make out. The transitions were really cool, though.

Wellll, I was watching videos to refresh my memory and I didn't recall seeing this one. I'm very glad I found it cuz it's very awesome! I love the last shot of clark... wonderful video!
