I'm glad you all liked it.

Thanks Terry, Labby.

Ann, pathos and loneliness is sort of part of Alt-Clark's character by the end of the series. It's also the dark side of Christmas. The two seemed to be a perfect match.

Classicalla, Olympe...a sequel? hmmm...call it Christmas day or something? Maybe...

I'm glad you like my stories Caroline.

Thanks Bakasi, SJH, Yvonne, DS Dragon, Lara and James.

Yes, Karen, there IS a super santa. <g> The similarities between the two characters struck me. Both put on suits, fly, do nice things for people. My inspiration came when I thought of the song "I saw mamma kissing Santa Claus" and mentally replaced that with Superman. I'd originally thought of doing something with the children of Lois and Clark discovering their father had two costumes in the back of his closet. <g>

Thanks Poussin, Jojo, Cornelia, Joy, SNL, Alcyone.

Toketsupuurin, thanks for the wibble.

Loved it, Shayne. I loved the melancholy mixed with the desire to search for hope and joy in the season. And while I always enjoy everything you write and would eat up a sequel, I thought this story was a complete idea unto itself. It kind of leaves the reader with a bit of 'aaah..'

That was so cute and sweet. I was actually pondering myself about how Superman would make a mean Santa Claus, with the right disguise. Sticking it in the AU just made it all the more touching--about how it was his way to help, without being put in the limelight for it.

Very poignant. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful, Shayne. Seems like the kind of thing Clark would do. And I am so glad he got his own "present" in the end.

Hi,

Great piece! hyper

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.
