“Lois, Clark told me what happened to me when I was stopping Miranda. I don’t remember a thing from the last couple of days!” Clark interrupted. How is Clark ever going to explain this lie to Lois? If you thought his actions in TOGOM were bad, what about now? Clark is SO DEAD

Clark is the ULTIMATE procrastinator.
You had to finish the story so easily. Can that be the easy way, and you write one where they actually do it or something? Don't get me wrong, it works. I'd just love to see this idea continued.
I think, therefore, I get bananas.
When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.
What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence? I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.

Wonderful ending for the trilogy. 'Amnesia' can so be a fun thing. Considering this part, Clark would be well advised to not tell Lois about himself - ever. An alternate ending would be great! (And greatly appreciated.)

Still, the nightgown left little to the imagination, and Clark felt himself begin to sweat.
As Lois gingerly walked up to him, Clark quickly ran through his plan one last time. However, much sooner than he would have liked, Lois had taken his hand in her own and was purring, “Superman…why don’t we take this somewhere…more private?” Perhaps we should cut Clark some slack, he did just put up with days of stoned Lois trying to get him to have sex. Maybe now would be a good time to spin into Clark clothing and see how she reacts. Patrick

I must admit, I wasn't completely satisfied with this ending myself. It wasn't as clever as I hoped it would be However, I had started out with the premise that nothing would happen in mind, and this was the only way that I could think of to end it that way. I certainly wouldn't mind if anyone else wrote an alternate ending or even rewrote the whole story. In fact, I was kind of considering maybe writing an alternate ending myself sometime, although I have absolutely no idea what would happen in such an ending. Maybe after I wrap up Just a Normal (Super) Kid. However, I do know that it wouldn't be that *ahem* detailed in certain places...way beyond my experience, lol.

I must admit, I wasn't completely satisfied with this ending myself. It wasn't as clever as I hoped it would be Maybe it is time for a confession. When Superman spoke again, the last of Lois’s resolve crumbled.
“Lois, I -“
****
“No, Superman! Don’t say that you love me!” Lois blurted out as tears started to well in her eyes.
Clark was taken aback at her sudden change in attitude. “What-“ he began.
“Oh, Superman! Believe me, I know how much you want this right now – I want it too! But what you’re feeling isn’t real!” she wailed.
Clark’s eyes widened. He had been about to say, “I have a confession to make”, but he wasn’t about to disabuse Lois of her erroneous assumption. Clark sighed, "Lois, the pheromone doesn't effect me. I'm sorry but the last couple of days pushed me to the breaking point and well..." He trailed off leaving the sentence unfinished as he began to spin. A microsecond later Clark Kent, in a black polo and black jeans, stood before Lois.

Clark gaped in astonishment. The audacity! – but he remembered to look relieved before Lois could notice anything suspicious. Yes, the audacity!!

Hi, Great part!
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF
