Laura, the prologue and epilogue were just wonderful! (And the rest of the story was great, too!) thumbsup thumbsup

I read the story before you tacked on the prologue and epilogue, and I thought it was great then. But the bookending with the photo album was just too precious! I laughed both times.

Well, after having this one enthusiastically recommended by its GE laugh , I had to read it. Very glad I did because it brightened up my day enormously.

I'll now be totally unoriginal and copy everyone else...sweet, adorable...I heard someone call it darling and it is all of those things. Plus, very funny.

I've read the version with the additions, of course, and I think they add just the right touch. Funny and WAFFy and just perfectly in character, Laura.

Hoping to see more from you soon! And this one is going on my Kerth list for next year. thumbsup

I loved the story so much I am going to email it to my partner to read if that's ok with you. He's not a member.

It was unbelievably adorable. I can see Lois getting mad at him and pushing him away - I would have been outraged at six to be embarrassed like that no matter how cute he was.

Lol, thanks! And that's fine with me as long as it works okay with the forum rules.

No problem with sharing gfic off the forum - so long as you ask the author nicely first and they say it's okay.

It is against the rules to share nfic off the forum, for obvious reasons, so that would be a no no, but gfic doesn't present any problems.

And welcome to the boards, Little Tornado! wave

wave Hi!! Thank you for the permission and the explanation of the rules. I am going to send him a link to the story on the boards once I stop procrastinating long enough to do so.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking around the archives for years and for the record I hate it when Tank cuts Lois' hair short. Please stop doing it Tank.

Like I said earlier love the story. In fact love it so much that I wish I had thought of it. I hate it when that happens.

Sorry. I hate it when I see something I have to comment on after I post a reply.

Lady_Mirth - you and I have two things in common. I'll leave you to guess what they are.

It's not any real problem posting again, LT, but you can edit your post if you want to belatedly add something to it. Just click on the little icon on the header of your post that looks like a notepad and pen.

Dang, Laura, that was a great story! Actually, I can believe that Clark is six, since my two boys are 5 and 7, and Clark's behaviour would fit right in-between the two. I loved the prologue and the epilogue, they really helped to make the story so sweet. That was great!

And sorry I'm posting so late - laptop crashed, and I'm waaaay behind on my reading!

That, because I don't have any kids of my own quite yet, so this is kind of based on my cousins, kind of based on my own guesswork and knowledge. I could see maybe Clark should be five or so, as was pointed out that he seems a little immature for a 6 year old, but eh. I don't think it matters too terribly much. Thanks for reading!
