LOL, Jen, good one! <g>

And I'm not sure I've seen many fics that use Kryptonite to get Clark sick with the flu... hmm... I'll keep that trick in mind; it might come in handy, later wink

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Meet Jen's muse.

This is Jen's muse on Robitussin . . . laugh

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

*Blayne*

Clark: You are really high maintenance, you know it?
Lois: But I'm worth it.

Clark: Not exactly what you had in mind, huh?
Lois: Let's see. So far I've been given a glimpse of ritual crop worship, been treated as your girlfriend, and insulted your parents. No, I couldn't have planned this.

Cute idea.

I take it that this takes place before Lois 'knows'.

Tank (who never had much use for stuff like Robitussin, but the Vicodin that he's currently taking seems to work reasonably well)

rotflol Oh, too funny!

I'm laughing so loud my kids think I'm nuts. <g>

Very cute, Jen. I love the idea of Clark getting the flu during Kryptonite exposure. And everyone thinking he's drunk on cold medicine when he says he's Superman. Very, very funny.

Great silly revelation!!

LOL, thanks. The part that I couldn't fit in was that the story had to have a hook from an actual episode. But that's ok, I had fun writing it anyway. wink

You guys are too sweet. Thank you for all of the comments! smile

Hilarious, Jen. Clark overdoing the Robitussin is pretty funny. He drank a whole bottle? goofy

I wouldn't have minded to see a bit more of Lois' reaction and how she deals with a drunk-out-of-his-gourd Clark.

ROTFL! Being sick with the crud myself this weekend, I know how poor Clark feels. But at least he didn't take NyQuil. wink
