I loved so much of this - Kiley's interaction with Lois, Clark, and Thomas and her general uncertainty during the opening. I loved the fact that her family's support was such a boost to her confidence.

And I got a warm fuzzy feeling from Larry's response to her painting. I had my doubts before, but I'm starting to think he could just be a nice guy.

Meadowrose - Haven't seen you in a while! Glad you're still enjoying it.

Michael - Ah, yes Arnold. I actually put him in this chapter at the last minute. But he works well to understanding some of Kiley's inner insecurities, which will be discussed later. He's also just one of those annoying characters you'd like to kick in the butt, like Ralph, you know? I don't have a Ralph in this story, so we have Arnold instead. Btw - I suppose I'll have to wait until next week for feedback from you, as well, huh?

Elisabeth - I'm glad you find it interesting. And how do you define long?

Nancy - I'm glad you enjoyed how Kiley's family supported her at her opening. And how Larry reacts to her painting is important to their relationship, so I'm glad it gave you a nice WAFF.
