So Clark is out of the picture for awhile but Claude has Lois right where he wants her. Paris has indeed lost some appeal.

You did not just say Claude? Did you? Well, I suppose Lois has just found herself. Now pack up and get the hell out of there! I'll bet that Claude took her keyboard so that she would have to come to him, to "ask" for something just to get started. Rat!
Yes, Clark! Lois is in trouble and she needs you.
DJ, hurry back!

I have to ask if Lois was really turned off at the thought of seeing whatshis name. I mean if this was say,Barcelona, and whosit showed up...but Paris?...the Planet? come on.Besides, the guy's an editor-that's public knowledge.I know Lois jumps without looking first, but this is tooo easy.

Hey, Barcelona isn't bad! It's got beaches... architecture... ...and it usually hasn't got Claude! Oh, but it also usually hasn't got Clark... so, Lois, I think Metropolis is the place for you! Ann P.S. What? Didn't I get that right?

Hello everyone! I'm so glad you're all still speaking to me. LOL. Don't worry, Paris hasn't lost ALL of it's appeal yet. Oh, and it will be mentioned later, but Claude is not "THE" editor-in-chief... he is an underling, a junior chief. That's why Lois didn't know he was at the Planet in Paris. She was supposed to report to a different man... as you'll see soon. But it's bound to get interesting, isn't it? Thanks for sticking with me - hope you're still enjoying the story and I hope you don't come after me with pitchforks on the next couple of posts. Thanks for the fdk everyone! I really appreciate it. It's felt so good to stretch my LNC legs again. -- DJ Oh, and Ann, I was thrilled to death to see pictures. Hee hee... it's been a while since something has sparked picture fdk.

DJ, there was one thing in there had me bash my head against the table every time you mentioned it. Lois being completely ignorant of the time-difference between the East Coast and Europe. Of course, then she said it her self: She IS an investigative reporter, she SHOULD know this. It's just, shouldn't this be something she should know in her sleep? Then she basically begins to fawn over Jacques  Lois is certainly on the rebound. Maybe Clark should have given her Superman as the rebound guy and then dates her as Clark. You did mention Claude being the junior-EIC and it certainly serves Lois well. Does this mean that Perry doesn't know/suspect the whole history between Lois and Claude or does he just not know that Claude works at the Paris office. I guess it must be the first because he would know the second and then he would have mentioned it to Lois, non? So, anyway, Looking forward to seeing Lois with Claude. Talk about a whole bulkload of sexual harassment and the way Lois feels right now, she will so end up in his bedroom and right now I don't feel all too sympathetic for her so go for it and let Claude break her heart, steal her story and send her back home so she can cry her eyes out in Daniel's arms. Michael PS: I think I might not yet have mentioned that I really enjoy this story. Just in case there might be any doubt with my tongue-in-cheek reply: Yes, I enjoy it very much

Ha ha. Yes, I threw that part in there about Lois not figuring out the time difference as just a way to show how "unsteady" and "unsure" she is right now... about everything. A little head-banging always makes me smile. lol The thing about whether or not Perry knew about Claude will be addressed (I think maybe in part 4 which you've already read it looks like) Oh, and I love tongue-in-cheek and snarky comments... never you fear. As long as I know/think that you truly are enjoying the story... and it seems you are. Thanks Michael!

Not to mention that Lois is an American. Americans tend to not know as many languages as they do in other countries, not know as many world leaders as other they do in other countries and other factoids about the places they don't live in.
