Well, the Trask confrontation and the final wrap-up aren't written yet, but I know where they're going, so I'm aiming for Wednesday to post the final part.

Thanks to my amazing betas, Carol, Ray, and Amber, who keep getting deluged with bits and pieces of this story.

And to all of you for the feedback, which keeps me motivated to actually *finish* the story. smile

This *is* my happily ever after.

Awesome beginning wrap up! Glad you are dealing with Trask and they are warned about Luther.
Waiting eagerly for the finale -

Nice part. Lois is still the one taking the brunt of the shocks but she's handling it well. I like that it was her that Clark turned to for advice at the end.

This still feels like we're only nearing the end of a larger beginning.

Thanks, everybody. Yes, Bob, I agree that the end of this story is really the beginning of a new story. That was what future Lois was aiming for all along, and it looks like she got it.

When I first started this, I was thinking that the main effect of Lois seeing future Clark would be her increased respect for her own Clark, but I'm starting to think that it goes both ways. Not the Clark didn't always respect Lois, but that Lois didn't see herself as Superman's equal, and now she's starting to. It's more like the two of them are inventing Superman together. It's still very early days for Superman in this world, and I think he's going to be more of a joint project than just Clark's alter ego.

Off to try to finish!

I think it's funny that Clark calls her Lo because he doesn't like being called CJ. I also like the nickname Samwise.

Nice progression.
