Terry - you need to get the FDK threads going! That way it's really easy for someone to tell you how great this fic is, how much detail you've put in about the music business and the musicians, and the good plotting and characterization.
Yes, you can tell I really like the fic! Great alternate beginning.

You know, it wouldn't be so impossible to have a real relationship as a traveling musician if your boyfriend could, oh, I don't know, maybe, fly?
This *is* my happily ever after.

I'm with you HG.
Love this alternate view at slowly developing chemistry.
I think, therefore, I get bananas.
When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.
What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence? I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.

She took it and stood up. She felt like a child next to his bulk. He reminded her of the huge man who’d played the zombie-looking butler in the old Addams Family TV show, but with less human warmth. The retold events of a tired Lois talking to a tired Connie was hilarious and the why you handled the police scene gave it quite a comedic undercurrent. Wonder how the whole network-of-angels is interconnected. Angela sure has a lot of deductive skills. Fun part, more soon Michael

Thanks for the props, y'all. Word up, they bless.
Clark and Lois could indeed have a relationship where he flew everywhere she was, but they'd either have to bring the whole band in on the secret - a problematic proposition at best - or hide it from them - thereby driving a wedge between Lois and the rest of the women. Not sure that would work. Someone would eventually get suspicious.
Michael's "network of angels" comment is interesting. You may have just given my muses the seed grain for the sequel. We'll see what develops.
Next chapter up in minutes!
