It's interesting the relationship between Ching and Zara. smile

I'm curious to see how are they going to solve the problems smile

A fantastic part! thumbsup Your characterizations are spot on.

And poor Lois! frown I'm glad she has the support of Martha and Jonathan.

I'm looking forward to reading the next part.

Hi,

Great part. thumbsup

Quote
"Our relationship is not a romantic one, but it must be an intimate one," Zara clarified, but not really. "You will have to trust me, as much as you've ever trusted anyone and I will have to do the same. You will be asked to place your life in my hands, to trust the fate of New Krypton and its people to my judgment and I will do the same. To the world, we must always appear as of one mind. Despite any disagreements we may have, we will always have to stand united. The fate of one of us is the fate of both of us. There can be no pretenses between us, no formalities. We are far beyond decorum. In public, we owe one another complete loyalty, in private, complete candor."
Well, Ching should take Clark place in that department. thumbsup

More soon, please.

Hey Rac, you are definately keeping this story interesting and compelling.

Poor Lois having to deal with her parents, luckily she has the Kents to keep her sane!

The Ching, Zara and Clark triangle is taut with resentment and frustration..I can't wait to see what happens on New Krypton.

Keep up the great work! thumbsup

Lois: Can I go?
Clark: No.
Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go.
Clark: Then why do you ask?
Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your comments. I'm very glad to see that the tension among Zara, Clark, and Ching is believable. Even if I can't make people like Ching, I at least want them to understand his motivations and not think of him as a completely worthless character wink

I'm also glad to see that the parts with Lois and Martha worked. I always liked the conversation between Martha and Jonathan in ATAI where they refer to when Jonathan told Mrs. Clark to 'stuff a sock in it' and I'd always wanted to incorporate the story behind that into a fic. More will be coming soon.

Rac
