Hello there, ckfan here...This is going to be my first piece of fanfiction ever and I apologize if it's
a)Annoying
b)Irritating
c)Illogical etc.
also if this piece offends any lc shipper than let mes assure you in advance that this is going to be a lois and clark ship(near the end).
I've possibly read more than 90% of LnC fics from archives and msg boards and the one common theme in them is that lois keeps trying to protect her feelings by pushing clark away and superman keeps coming back for more.
The premise of this fic is that clark kent is exactly what he says he is emotionally (an ordinary guy) and can be pushed too far. There are also some assumptions made in this fic which are as follows.
1)One of the reasons clark kent fell in love with lois lane at first sight concerns to his kryptonian psychology and not the much subscribed(and completely valid)
soulmates theory.
2)This one is a bit more controversial; Clark kent's power did not stop growing at the age of eighteen when he first took flight but simply plateaued.
Before wrapping up the prologue, I would like to thank every profilic writer on this site for providing days worth of entertainment specially labrat, wendy richards & tank wilson mainly beacause theirs are the names that spontenously come to mind.
Finally I would like to thank anyone brave enough to read this vignette sized prologue and beg of the site administrators not to revoke my membership for making people go through this travesty.
