And is it true about the diplomatic tensions between Krypton and Thanagar?

Very unique. I'm glad that Lois grew into loving Clark, but it was very intriguing to think that she might have been playing a role all that time.

Thanagar is where Hawkman and Hawkwoman are from. It does have a history of being expansionist so problems with Krypton seem reasonable. Presumably this is one of the versions where the wings are part of a artificial flight harness and not natural because I hope Clark would have noticed if Lois had wings. Are Hawkman and Hawkwoman on Earth working with the Central police on a exchange program?

In comics and animated series continuity they invade Earth eventually. Maybe Jason Trask was looking at the wrong reporter...
