Hope you enjoyed this section as Clark settles back into his job.

I just discovered this story tonight and yes, I not only read the entire first story and the first two chapters of this one, but actually delayed going to bed so I could read part 3 at midnight after seeing your feedback in part 2. Hee.

Loving it, all of it. Such a novel take on things, forcing Clark to put his money where his mouth is when it comes to "being the best blind man I can be." And I'm delighted that they are living together and we're getting to see how they navigate that; with all the difficulties Clark is facing, he deserves to have things with Lois going well (with the logical relationship hurdles, of course. smile ) Oh, and I really liked the scene from Perry's POV, showing us that he knows ... but doesn't want to official know. That's exactly how I see him, too, so I enjoyed watching it unfold.

And now we're getting a brand new a-plot, to show how L&C can still work together! Can't wait for more. smile

I agree with Kathy. I liked the section from Perry's POV especially the tennis score! clap

Thank you also for explaining Lois's motivation (I'm his partner) for being in on the interview. Well, DUH! I hadn't even thought about it from that point of view.

Thank you also for explaining Jimmy's lack of anger or defused anger at Clark. I feel much better now, know he ACTUALLY had been angry but that it was Clark calming influence on Lois that made him forgive Clark. That rambling scene when Clark described living with Lois was funny. laugh

So, is A plot new or rehashed? Hhhhmmmm. Normally, I wouldn't ask this question but you used three plots from S2 in Episode one, so part of me keeps guessing you're bringing in an old foe in a new direction. If it's not entirely new, my next guess is the old man from the beginning of SuperMann, due to the Speedy Ambulance service. Maybe... it is a new story and you're just throwing red herrings at me. wink I'll have to keep reading to find out.

Interesting stuff about braile on the computer or services for the blind on the computer. I knew there were programs that would read your writing on the computer, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they can also read websites. It seems a bit advanced for 1994, which I vaguely remember as the year I was introduced to the World Wide Web... but hey! laugh And this is a professional news organization, I'm sure the DP would be on top of the game computer wise, right? Sorry, if it sounds like I'm nit-picking. Just an observation.

So, what's going on with all the Mr. Smith's with mental problems in Metropolis? Hhhhmmm. The focus is shifting off Clark's blindness and onto the story. Subtle. I don't know if it's Lois's doing or MLT's. Hhhhmmmm. wink

Lois and Clark did have the advantage, however, since they get to play as a team while Perry has to play all by himself. laugh

That tends to be my answer to any questions about plot. laugh

Anyway, glad you're enjoying it.

I think it's agreed- Perry's scene was great. I'm of the opinion that Perry does know, too, so this matched up perfectly for me.

So. The crazy Mr. Smith is one and the same as Perry's old pal? Interesting.

And the end where Clark and Lois are trying to pull a fast one over the nurse had me laughing. At first (not realizing it was a ruse) I was thinking to myself, wow, Clark's pretty pissed at this lady. Then I wondered what his game was, because she obviously wasn't going to help him after that incident... So good job! Lois pulled a fast one on me. laugh

More, please! dance

Glad you enjoyed it, Mouserocks.

So... I'm currently working on getting part four together. It should be up at midnight.

laugh And bad Perry! He's way too much fun with his knowledge.

So... It seemed she did know... anything worth knowing about her partner.
Yes, she does know about the little birthmark way way down below his navel.

“Just tell me that if I decide to give you a second chance that it won’t happen again,” Perry said.
At least, not until he ends up deaf.

On the other hand, if his suspicions were correct, then Clark had actually been injured while working on a story. That would have qualified him for Workers Comp - assuming Clark felt he could reveal how he had really been blinded.

Michael, the scoring is tennis scores. Or... at least I think it is. As one who has never played tennis, I find their scoring system mysterious and wonderful so I thought it would work here.
