to produce quality breads, pastries and cakes that are eye-catching, sumptuous, and just plain yummy.
And now I am hungry.
Her mouth began to water and her stomach protested the lack of nourishment.
“Smooth, Lois, making plans for the second anniversary when the wedding hasn’t taken place yet!”
Ha! Jimmy is awesome.
“A map of Metropolis’ Topaz district, indicating the time and places of the jewel heists by our friend, The Phantom.”
Oooh! Is he trying to woo Christine Daae? (Sorry, could not resist!)
“I heard that!” her amused colleague called from the coffee station.
Clark's not the only one with super hearing!
“Phantom? What Phantom?” Clark asked innocently.
Heh. Love him.
“Hey, three seconds ago it was cheesy. What happened?” Jimmy asked.
“Woman’s prerogative – I changed my mind,” Lois said as she sauntered up the ramp.
I really do love the banter between these three here and one the show.
“Yeah, they do work well together. Stacy has encouraged him to reach for his full potential. Since Jack has completed his GED, she has even convinced him to attend college this fall.”
Cute! I love that Jack has someone backing him up, helping him reach his potiential, same as Clark did for Jimmy.
“Are you saying it takes two of them to equal one of you?”
Ha!
Now, with a little encouragement from Lois and Diane, her brown hair was cut into a manageable style
You pulled a Tank!!!
The result was an attractive young lady, growing into her new city lifestyle and work environment.
Awww!
she was still a little shy around Lois and Clark.
Danger Will Robinson! "Sarah" (aka Zara) seemed shy around them too!!!
“Nice lead; one repairman showing up at a shop is fine, two a coincidence, but all five high-end jewelry stores having static on their phones? Impossible. It has to be part of The Phantom’s MO,” Clark said.
Ding! Give the man a cookie!
“Hey, Clark! Why not ask No Knees Nolan if he has any leads on this guy and possibly his crew?”
Awww! She really is *so* much better at cover stories than he is.
No complaints about static on the phones were reported and no repairman was ever dispatched to those locations.
I figured as much. Fake repair men casing the places.
It was modest by many people’s standards, but the simple perfect gem meant the world to Lois.
Just really like this sentence, and for what it says about her.
“This wouldn’t have anything to do with impressing Lucy, would it?” Lois said, arching her eyebrow.
Jimmy was about to strongly deny it, but nervously shrugged his shoulders in defeat. “Guilty as charged.”
Awww! Love all the couple-ness going on in this tale.
More please!
