I love it! What wonderful fluff. Please consider writing such pieces more often.

It was nice to see Lois taking the secret in stride for a change. And I love how she figured it out.

Also, I was amused by the choice of ice cream flavours. I love how Lois chose chocolate over rocky road. But if Clark knew what significance would later be assigned to the flavours in an alternate universe, I can't imagine he'd ever have gone for rocky road.

Great fun.

Just starting your little piece of - what, exactly? I guess I'll just have to read and see. smile

Truth was they had never been swimming together… at least not intentionally.

“Think about it, Clark.” She stood up and reached out to run her fingers through his hair on the side of his head. “Or should I say Superman?” she whispered before walking away.
Oops? Did he take his glasses off for swimming? :p

Quote
Clark was left with his mouth hanging open. He had taken his glasses off earlier… and his hair had been slicked back from the water. He had been careless, his mind running on half a cylinder thinking about Lois in a bathing suit… and seeing Lois in a bathing suit…
Hehe, and his blood has rushed southward. Typical male - or not?

Quote
‘The airport… after the pheromone incident,’ came the whisper from his partner to match the images he was recalling in his head. ‘And for the record, I’ve known for a while. Two men who kiss the same, even without tongue? Please. I’m the best in the business for a reason.’
For kissing men? Isn't that more Cat's style? wink Just kidding. I guess we have to upgrade Lois from galactically stupid to galactically clever, huh?

Quote
Clark’s soft laughter filled the air even as he held out his treat. “I’m glad we bought ice cream,” he told her. And even more thrilled she wasn’t mad at him. Just maybe that would help later… when he tried to put his tongue back in her mouth.
Not your typical male? I'll believe it when I see proof of it. (What, he was talking about the flying then? Pah!)

What happens when Lois and Clark eat ice cream cones together?
WAFFyness ensues?

Quote
This hasn’t been beta’d, was written in fifteen minutes.
I admire that. It always takes me so much longer to write mine.

Quote
It was important for him to keep up appearances.
Plus, it gets him an invite into her place?

Quote
“Is there any other kind?” she wanted to know with a grin.

Quote
“I’ll grab my suit,” she tossed flippantly, as if she and Clark went swimming together every day.
Oooh!

Quote
and with any luck, he might talk her into grabbing dinner on the way home.
Oooooh! I like the planning, Clark!

A sleek, form fitting suit…

That accentuated every curve.
clap <wonders what Lois thinks of glistening, wet Clark>

<wonders if Clark's wet, slicked down hair is going to make a reveal here>

Clark had chosen rocky road, while Lois ordered regular chocolate.
Love the nod to the series.

Quote
“You want to… lick my ice cream cone?”

“Well, duh. How else would I taste it?”

He gulped at the thought of her tongue moving over his cone…

And his tongue moving over his cone…
<resists urge to make innappropriate innuendos>

Quote
“Oh, please. You’ve had your tongue in my mouth.”
clap

He had taken his glasses off earlier… and his hair had been slicked back from the water.
I had wondered about the glasses, actually.

I love this. It always bothered me that she could put 2 and 2 together from a touch, but not from the way he kissed her. After all, she figured out the clone wasn't Supes after he kissed her in Vatman.

Just maybe that would help later… when he tried to put his tongue back in her mouth.
Oooh! Naughty Clark! I approve!

Great little tale! Loved every minute of it!

At least this time Lois took the reveal calmly.

Hi SQD! Great to see another Ficathon entry drool

He could barely enjoy the cool water for looking at his hot partner. And she was wearing a very modest one piece suit.

A sleek, form fitting suit…

That accentuated every curve.
