"You're better at this than I thought," she told him.
"At what?" Clark looked up at her quizzically.
"Dissembling."

Cute story. I like that you show Lois having interests outside of work.

"It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then...he shoots fire from the skies, and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him." -Batman (in Superman/Batman #3 by Jeph Loeb)

This was a fun story. It makes sense Clark would like footy since he spent some time in Australia for that article he showed Perry.

Cute story. There is more here to be explored. Perhaps a sequel?

Morgana

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Thanks Virginia. I have Ken to thank for most of them. He pointed out a couple things I missed. wallbash

I didn't plan on a sequel but there could be something there. smile I've got a a few other stories to finish up first.

That doesn’t sound legal…

They had been fortunate that somehow Clark had heard a group of guards heading towards the stairwell they were in as they were making their climb up.
Uh-huh.

They quickly had exited onto the nearest floor and found an office left unlocked.
Let me guess…Clark found it?

Lois ignored his plea. “You have something to do tomorrow night? Like what, a hot date? I know Linda left town, so is it Toni? Did she get out on bail and give you a call even though you turned her in?”

Before the maid could interrupt, Lois abruptly stood up out of her chair and walked over to examine the ficus. The air around her was getting a little too warm. She needed space to cool down her thoughts and refocus on getting Clark to open up.
