Ken:

CJ is as cute as a button! Reminds me of my nephew at that age.

Quote
Lois continued crying, but, Clark could tell from the look on her face that they were no longer tears of joy, but sorrow. Sorrow that it wouldn’t be too much longer until Herb showed up to take CJ away from them and back to his parents. He enclosed both her and CJ in his arms standing there in the surf and comforted his wife even though his own heart was also breaking.
The emotions going through my heart is killing me. whinging

How can you possibly end this on a happy note?

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Hi Morgana,

Thanks for the FDK!

I think at one point I warned you that this would be an emotional roller coaster.

Well, all I can say is that there are only four more posts so one way or another it has to be resolved soon.

One word of encouragement, it is always darkest before the dawn.

Quite frankly, I wrote the story and I still can't read it without having a box of tissues handy. I guess I am acheiving the desired effect when it gets to me emotionally, so you are not alone.

I understand, but it still hurts.

If that was me on the beach with CJ and I KNEW he would be leaving me soon...

Sniff... frown I will wait to see what the later episodes bring.
