Awwwwwwwwwww, Sara! This was absolutely delightful! Loved, loved, loved the list. And then from something seriously funny you switched to a warm and waffy ending which just had me melting into my seat. I will tell Clark about the minor fact that I'm in love with him. <snuffle> Perfect. And loved the repetition of that last line. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us. LabRat (going off to spend some waffy New Year's Even snuggles with Stuart, wrapped up in a warm glow...<happy sigh> )
Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly. Aramis: Yes, sorry. Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Sara, a lovely story like this pops into your head "almost completed". Aren't you supposed to make it look harder than this? Ooh, I am *so* envious... I loved the list. The blend of humorous with an underlying seriousness on a couple of the items... And then of course the waffyness at the end as we look forward to the time when they are both ready. Kathy

Awwww..... And Happy New Year! Pelican
Such a little thing really, a kiss...most people don't give it a moment's consideration. They kiss on meeting, they kiss on parting, that simple touching of flesh is taken entirely for granted as a basic human right.

Very cute Sara! Loved it. The next time Clark saves my life, I'll ask Perry to make the by-line 'Kent and Lane'. Just for two editions. Or maybe one. Depends on how patronising he is afterwards.
......
"You have to save my life, first!" I remind him.
"No problem. Absolutely no problem at all," he grins, spreading his hands.
"Mmm-hmm," I humph, unconvinced. "I'd leave the job to Superman, if I were you, Farmboy."
He's grinning as he walks away, and I just barely catch the mumbled words that he throws back at me. "I will, Lois, I will..."
......
Did he really think that I didn't notice the similarities between him and Superman before now? Sounds like a good way to let him know that she knows next time Superman saves her ... -Breanna

Hi, Great story.
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

Great story! I know, most resolutions are meant to be broken and forgotten (thinking of situps on her current resolution list), but I have a feeling that the last one on her list is one she *won't* forget to do! And *snicker* over certain resolutions on the list.

Awww! So cute and funny with the oh so clever (and oh so Lois!) list and then you took a quick right turn into WAFFy for an added treat. I love that! Great last resolution and so cute how she snuck it in there ... along with letting us know she knew more than she was letting on about Clark's alter-ego. Very fun. Kathy

Sara, I loved this!
So funny and clever. Really enjoyed the back and forth over Clark saving Lois' life and the switch in by-line.

Sara, I just wandered onto the boards today briefly and saw this little vingette and I have to tell you that I enjoyed it very much. It made me go awwwww out loud and then I had to explain to my son that I had read a good story and then that he would not understand it... nevermind.. just know that it was well written

I'm a little short on time, but I've left replying to this waaay too long... thank you so much, everybody!! Popping in here the other day for five minutes was a *big* mistake, because I ended up just staring blankly at the screen with the hugest smile on my face, and completely forgot about an important appointment... but what the heck <g>. Thanks so much Laura, LabRat, KathyM, Pel, Wendy, Breanna, Laura, Julia, Maria, Karen, Tricia, Melisa, José, Sas, KathyB, CC, Bumpkin, Anna and Merry!! I really had fun reading this - and I hope you all had a great New Year Just a few things I wanted to respond to: Sara, a lovely story like this pops into your head "almost completed". Aren't you supposed to make it look harder than this? Ooh, I am *so* envious... to you all - I'll be on a high for the next five weeks Sara.
Death: Easy, Bill. You'll give yourself a heart attack and ruin my vacation.
