Here is the next part. We meet Lois directly, but not Clark yet. I promise Clark will show up.

On the other hand, I can't promise to keep up this pace of posting.

Good to see Lois at a younger stage in life, clearly less mature then normally portrayed but just as hungry. I did find it odd that she makes no connection between Clark Kent and CJ Kent especially as she knows it is a small town and Perry just told her Clark is the other big journalism school recruit. Looking forward to see them meet.

rotflol I love it! I love how you wrote Lois with such fire and wit still- spot on! Can't wait to find out her reaction when Perry tells her that Clark is CJ Kent. Take some of the wind out of her sails, for sure. wink

Also, is Manheim anyone to be concerned about? The name is making me wonder... spider

Looking forward to the next installment!

What Lois thinks of this matter will be explained in the next part.

Just remember that high school students writing for professional papers was extremely rare by the 1980s. Lois is the only one on staff anywhere in Metropolis.

Mouserocks: I am glad you like my portrayal of Lois.

I am not sure what you mean by Manheim. It is just a name I made up. He will rival Perry as the 3rd most important character in this story (after Lois and Clark). Beyond that I can't say much.

Bruno Mannheim is one of Superman's enemies.

Lois certainly seems obsessed with exposing someone, doesn't she? laugh

Oh, I see. Nathan "Nate" Manheim has no connection to Bruno Mannheim. I did not intend for this confusion.
