These ficlets are just delicious. Keep 'em coming! I'll second that! Very funny. Clever use of a title, too. - Vicki

Hi, Great story.
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

As I said over on the fic list, Lucy, I really enjoyed this. Very funny! You asked: I have a question now...did the title give it away for anyone? Not remotely, for me... and that reminds me: I'd meant to ask you whether 'Nots' was a typo. Did you mean Knots? (Not that 'knots' would have given it away for me either anyway ) Wendy

Wendy Nope, I meant "Nots." I thought that with "knots" no one would get the title until the end, but I used "nots" because the doctor is all like "don't do this, don't do that..." lucyolsen

I have a question now...did the title give it away for anyone? No, for me, it did not give it away. By spelling it "Nots", you lead the reader to think it is a play on words, in that Lois is being negative and "not" accepting what the doctor suggests. Then, at the end, we relate the original phrase, "tied in knots" with the tubal ligation. I thought it was quite clever, actually. - Vicki EDITED TO ADD: Oh, looks like you were posting at the same time I was. I see you intended the "not" to apply to the negativity of the doctor. I actually applied it to Lois, but it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other. Either way, nice title!

You'd think that while reading the fic I would make the connection between the title and the actual procedure, but of course, I didn't! lol Anyway, it was a truly fun story to read. Hope to see more. ~Lauren
Clark: Lois, you're kinda babbling. Lois: I know. See, I never babble. Clark: Are you kidding? You're a brook.
