Pretty intensely waffy there.
Lois has allowed herself to completely let go and fall for Charlie/Clark because of the long soul searching she has done over the years about Clark. Getting him back, sort of, is like a gift from the fates. Charlie, is just being a guy, falling for this gorgeous, witty woman. Though he does have these 'feelings' that there's more to this Lois Lane than just what he's seen so far.
Lois knows, Charlie doesn't, that has to spell disaster at some point.
