I love alt world stories. There isn't anything you can't do or make happen, and you are having a field day with this one.
Meeting Lois early in life, already the mention of time travel, and both Lois and Clark have different careers. Very interesting.
I also like Maria's speculation -
Wow! Could it be possible that to save Alt. Clark and Lois they were sent to a parallel world with a different names and that why that girl look so much like Lois.
I can't wait to see where this is all going. It's going to be great.
