Perhaps it's Etna or Stromboli? Vesuvius' last eruption was in 1944, just while Allies were entering in Napoli; but if a man can fly, Vesuvio can erupt
(not that Neapolitans'd be happy: forecast speak about a Big One in the near future very similar to the Mount S. Helen one!
