There's Centennial Park, the map shown in one of the S1 episodes that clearly depicts Manhattan, Hobbs River and West River as stand-ins for Hudson River and East River.
Or they could be stand- ins for Toronto - the very large (ok, I don't know total acreage
) High Park with the Humber River to the west and the Don River to the East.
