Wow, English is starting to sound easier and easier after hearing more about some other languages. I wish I had started to learn another language when I was younger. Here in the states (or at least TX), you don't have to take a foreign language unti HS (only 2 years required). And 2 years of Spanish just didn't make me fluent.
I always wondered why it seemed like everyone else in the world knows English (even when it's not their native tongue)... I guess it could be because the language is easy to learn and that children start learning it so young. /me jealous
