In my experience, men and women are a lot alike. IMHO we're often socialized differently, but if we have the same moral upbringing, we can make a good team.
I grew up with six brothers and they all taught me that if you want to let yourself be walked on, you will always find someone more than eager to do it but if you love yourself, you'll end up with a man strong enough to stick it through. For over 20 years I have been married to a man who respects me because I respect him, but especially because I respect myself.
Always respect yourself and never forget that you have worth.
