Yes, Emerson was one of the clues I put in there for the discerning reader.
As my readers already know, Jon's soul mate is Jennifer Johnson a second cousin of Lana Lang.
As far as Hattie is concerned, there will be a number of times that she will see Kam-El in action, but for some strange reason she never actually meets him until she finds herself falling off the top of a building and he rescued her. She came close though, there was that time in High School when he ... but that's another story.
Her friend Cindy
was more involved in that than Hattie.
