The persistent myth about Napoleon's height really demonstrates the power of propaganda! Waterloo was a muddy mess that could have turned out so differently without the rain, or without the terrain, or if it had started earlier...I'm sure Napoleon played the "what if" game over and over as he sat on St. Helena for the rest of his days!
I took Lana's comment as another reason to put down someone who was famous.
All the more reason that Clark needs to kick Lana to the curb and sweep Lois into his arms!

But I suspect that may happen a little later in the story.
