Wow...you've managed to make me like Lana even less than I already did. This was truly reprehensible behavior. And Clark gets blindsided in front of the newsroom - unforgivable! Can't feel anything but empathy for the guy.
And this, after that beautiful scene between Lois and Clark. Both starting to feel something for each other, moving towards acting on it, but Clark being the good guy that he is, puts a stop to it. Hopefully he will quickly see that losing Lana was the best thing that's ever happened to him, because now he's free to be with someone who he can have a true partnership with.
