Okay, we have Clark Jr., 20 years old, traveling back in time to rescue the dad he never knew, thanks to some assassin with too much alien crystals lying around. Aside from being overwhelmed at meeting his dad, he's also not really prepared with a story, jumping right in without checking the water level first-

-and then trying to explain things away.
