Constance Hunter neatly replaced the papers and computer diskette into a blue folder, leaned back in her chair and took a contemplative pose. <How do I impress upon this young firebrand what kind of man Daae is without dampening her enthusiasm *or* scaring her witless?>

Wait, what? Constance Hunter is in the DP Legal Department? That's a new twist...

“That is *my* story. Claude *stole* it.” Lois spoke, her voice carrying loud and clear across the bullpen.

Go Lois! Stand up for yourself.

Constance Hunter will offer legal help later in the story. Whenever possible I tried to use characters that are a part of the LnC universe, yet in a slightly different way.

In the pilot, Lois never seemed to make an effort to right that particular wrong that Claude commented against her. This is my take on matters.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
