Oddly enough, I am the only person in my family who has never seen The Lord of the Rings.

Nonetheless, the quote works perfectly for Lois and Clark's final day together.

“Oh, Clark,” she breathed, brushing another lock of hair off his forehead, and noticing that his brow was clammy with sweat. “I love you.”

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
