When I thought about sneaking a peek into Lois' mind, I couldn't help but taking this scene. Usually, I find Lois' inner turmoil harder to write than Clark's, because I understand his reasoning better than Lois'. Why on earth did she of all people think that she had to marry at all? Well, of course because the author's said so, but still...
