Andreia—of all the feedback lately (YAY!!), I have to say this was the one that made my day the most! Both Away From the Sun and this story mean so much to me personally, so the feedback always means that much more! I’m really glad to know you enjoyed and remembered the older ones, and that you enjoyed this one too.
Just like with altClark…it was important here that love isn’t a magical fix everything solution, but it’s definitely a strong component! On NK, it was him somehow holding on to Lois’ love that pulled him back from the brink, and then back on Earth…the love of his whole family, but also this newfound, unconditional love and responsibility with Kallie… <3 And yeah, Lois had a lot of time to come to terms with life, and she had the love of the Kents to help her heal her own stuff a little…so she was able to be there and be stronger for Clark.
Well…the setup is that Jerome will be Superman only. Clark and Lois will come back to Metropolis after a few months of happy recovery time. And Joanne…well, I have plans for her…but I haven’t quite figured out what, if anything, she’ll do in terms of a ‘job’. And yep… waiting for the next story while my muse is working on several other WIPS… BUT there are LOADS and LOADS of notes and ideas for scenes and a general plan in my head. I promise it won’t take 18 years this time!
