And I just had an unreliable narrator bunny: Clark is on a date and has strange flashes of pain etc. Turns out he's actually fighting and the date is visions / flashbacks while struggling with unconsciousness.

Now they need to visit Alt-Clark and fix his Lois-problem.

CLARKS: Hence the problem.
