I think I like every installment of this series more than the last.
Love how Lois is completely taken by MagiKal and the desire to figure out his 'magic'.
And super duper love that Clark Kent now works (freelance at least) for the DP! Yay, Clark!
And the bit more insight into what is happening with Clark! So he doesn't only have problems with his powers going out of control, but also gets debilitating headaches, which are temporary (or cured by proximity to Houdini??)... Yikes!! The way you wrote Houdini being so protective over Clark is perfect!
